Are you a young innovator aged 18 to 30 with a creative idea to tackle challenges in your community? The iAccelerator programme is back with its 7th phase!
Don’t miss out on this chance to turn your idea into real impact. iAccelerator Phase 7 is looking for projects that address two key challenges:
- Improving young people’s access to sexual and reproductive health services, including HIV prevention and menstrual health.
- Promoting mental health awareness and knowledge to help build inclusive, barrier-free communities.
Notice: All proposed solutions should ensure special consideration for the inclusion and participation of persons with disabilities.

The top six projects will each receive 10 million Rwandan Francs in seed funding, along with six months of training and mentorship to help grow and refine their ideas.

Sonia Umwali and Aimee Jules Simbi whose project aims to give reliable #SRH information to young adolescents in their hometown.
Mushuti Wanjye
Offers a discreet way for young people to access different sexual reproductive health products like condoms and pills.
Nyigisha
Aims to provide crucial Sexual Reproductive Health information that will prevent teenage pregnancies and promote HIV prevention measures among youth.
Ishusho TV
Seeks to raise awareness about mental health, with plans to expand and reach many partners.
Emotions
Offers online mental health training for youth ambassadors using the Common Element Treatment Approach (CETA) and provides a platform for young people to seek support.
MINDORA
A mobile application empowers users to access mental health information and connect with experts, which will revolutionize mental well-being
The Innovation Accelerator Programme
The Innovation Accelerator (iAccelerator) is a mentorship driven acceleration programme, supporting young entrepreneurs with seed funding, training and skills development to generate innovative solutions in response to challenges related to sexual and reproductive health, mental health, sexuality education, family planning, maternal health and other population development issues.
